About WEFST
The Waikato Ethnic Family Services Trust (WEFST) was officially launched in May of 2010 to support the growing number of ethnic communities in the Waikato region through a culturally appropriate holistic approach. It was a branch of a 35 years old organization New Zealand Ethnic Social Services in Auckland.
Mission
Our Mission To assist ethnic children and their families to settle and integrate into the New Zealand way of life and contribute to the social, cultural, and economic development of New Zealand, whilst retaining their own cultural heritage.
Vision
Our vision is to have a healthy and safe society for ethnic children and their families;
WEFST believes that strong families impact positively both on the well-being of individuals and the communities they live in.
