WEFST is offering Driving Training through Waikato Driving School which is a Community-Based Driving School. We are well-prepared to provide Affordable Driving Lessons of various levels including Learners, Restricted, Full Licenses and Defensive Driving Courses (DDC) to all candidates.
We are also prepared to assess and verify the safety and driving proficiency of employees for companies. We are proud of supporting community members who are referred to us by various organizations including other Social Service Providers, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Justice
Our passionate and experienced driving instructor is also a driving assessor with a background in psychology, counselling and adult teaching.
Therefore, we are prepared to work alongside our students with a holistic approach to their individual needs for a successful driving journey. Our approach includes building confidence, managing stress and improving safe decision-making.
We do a full assessment for our students at the very first point of contact to ensure the lesson plans is holistic and tailored to each student’s individual needs.

We run Community-Based Driving Licensing Courses through highly professional, and experienced driving instructors. We would offer Affordable Driving Lessons of various levels including Learners, Restricted, Full Licence and Defensive Driving Courses (DDC) to ALL candidates.
We run our DDC and Learner Licence classes through the support from our committed multi-lingual volunteer team. To increase the safety and well-being of our community. We are providing free of charge ongoing defensive driving program for ethnic people, who are dealing with the justice system due to their driving offences. with a holistic approach to their individual needs for a successful driving journey.
Our approach includes building confidence, managing stress, and improving decision-making. We provide School Safe Program, and we support older drivers through our Stay Safe for Senior Driver assessment, education and support program.
We work closely with Hamilton Aged Concern, The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Justice and The Ministry of Social development within his programs.
