Waikato Ethnic Family Services Trust

WEFST was initially established in 2010 as Waikato branch of New Zealand Ethnic Services (NZESS) which serviced ethnic communities around New Zealand. In 2012, WEFST became an independent organisation servicing the ethnic communities living within Hamilton and the wider Waikato region.

Our mission is to assist ethnic children and their families to settle and integrate into the New Zealand way of life and contribute to the social, cultural, and economic development of New Zealand, whilst retaining their own cultural heritage.

Our vision is to have a healthy and safe society for ethnic children and families. WEFST believes that strong families have a positive impact on both the well-being of individuals and the communities they live in.
